Graham DeLaet survives cut at The Barclays
(August 26, 2016) – With two holes left to play in Friday’s second round of The Barclays tournament, Graham DeLaet was sitting at a safe two-under par. Then he got to 17th hole.
The Weyburn native triple bogeyed the hole, putting him one-over par and — after he couldn’t gain any shots back on the final hole — leaving him tied for 68th with a two-day total of three-over 145, and just on the right side of the right side of the cutline set at three-over par.
Patrick Reed of the United States currently sits alone atop the leaderboard, finishing the second round with a total of 134 and eight-under par.
The tournament’s third round is scheduled for Saturday with the final round set for Sunday at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y.
